Take the guide as a set of tools that you can use to form your own style of gameplay. I will try to keep this guide as free of text as possible the first few sections and the last few sections will have a lot of text. There will be gifs, video clips, and references to other sources throughout the guide. There are node wars throughout the week, except for Saturday nights, in which opposing guilds will fight over small territories.

Node wars are usually composed of guilds with people fighting for the territory. Saturday nights are when sieges, for the territory castles, take place. Sieges generally have hundreds of players in them. This is generally considered the end goal of BDO; to be able to effectively compete in this type of pvp.

However, there is other forms of pvp in BDO. For smaller scale pvp, there is Red Battlefield rbfin which two teams battle and points are gained for each kill dependent on the amount of points your slaughtered opponent had. There are multiple duel arenas throughout BDO, with one in each major city, and a new arena that can be teleported to from anywhere in the game.

These arena are free pvp and respawn, where anyone can fight another player. The newest pvp feature that has been added in the Arena of Arsha, where 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 fights can take place.

Besides pvp, there is a wide variety of activities to do in BDO, including: life skilling fishing, cooking, trading, etc. Each class has a specific role in BDO pvp. Some classes excel at large scale pvp while others excel at small scale and duels. Some classes are very good in all types of pvp, but each class has weaknesses and no one class is unbeatable.

However, some classes are certainly weaker than others in terms of damage, mobility, utility, etc. I assume you have an interest in Kuno since you are reading this guide, so if you enjoy the class, stick with it. To be frank, Kuno seems like a weak class in comparison to the most played classes in the game. Her damage and mobility are lacking. Her awakening will seem slow and clunky compared to her pre awakening at first, but this gets better with practice.

However, her survivability, aoe crowd controls ccsand flexibility allow for gameplay that few other classes can provide. If you do stick with the class, then the rewards from her class-specific skills that she shares with ninja e. Ninja and Kuno are similar classes pre awakened. However, they take very different gameplay styles after awakening. A summary comparison is below:.

And also some people told me i should use Full Grunil Armor but idk. Cedar, Birch, etc will net you a lot of gold. Pirate is still the best place to make silver. Grunil is good if u don't have ap, it only gives 7 in full set. Havoc View Profile View Posts.

In middle of the road spots like basilisk, centaurs, manshaum, ronaros, pila ku, sulfur or even Aakman you will want a kutum to grind efficiently except if you really have a lot of AP. And obviously at endgame grindspots like Gyfin, Mirumok, hystria ruins and soon sherekan grave and the underwater temple a kutum offhand is highly recommended.

But realistically, how much more money you do in End-Game Spots compared to the common ones? This is why I'm asking if it's really worth it A lot.

Let's take Manshaums for example. Trash loot at manshaums is worth 8k each one and getting 2. Not including caphras stones, lemoria shoes and gloves can drop enhanced as wellvoodoo scrolls which give alot of blackstones and caphras stones, and narc earrings which sell for max price 75m. I think you answered your own question If kutum saves you using 1 additional skill and allows you to grind faster, then it's worth. Otherwise, depending on play style, you might not need it. Might just save you from an unexpected 1-combo.

Ninja has so lil PvE ratios that most of Times you won't notice any difference, I personally Run nouver. Nouver is highly overrated. Nouver was overrated before the Renown, now it's BiS for a reason, and there is no one with minimum common sense that could argue the opposite, aside from who want to underperform just "to be different from the mass". AP may be king in large scale, but control will always be the most important factor in small scale.

Like I said, really good ninjas don't need a ton of AP to kill you, the best ones won't let you get off the ground for more than half a second.

You just don't get to play the game.

BDO Black Desert Kunoichi Class Guide 2020

And in any case if you don't go full Evasion even with Pen Sicil and Pen Kutum, the difference in evasion is so small that it does not really matter, even if you add a Heve Elmet, the added Evasion is so small that it does not really matter, the only noticeable difference is if you run Muskan or Urugons And doing so With Renown in place you lose so much Damage that compromise your entire statusIf you have any feedback, want to learn more from the people behind the guide, or just want other Ninja and Kunoichi players to talk to, the discord server is the number one place to go to.

That said, Cid has written an excellent and in-depth guide specifically tailored for Kunoichis over here that you should really check out. In fact, his hard work was what inspired this guide in the first place, and several of the generic sections here were kindly donated by him. Link to resources for Kuno and Ninja players here. There are node wars throughout the week, except for Saturday nights, on which the most competitive guilds will fight over entire regions.

Node wars are usually composed of guilds each with people fighting for the territory. Saturday nights are when sieges, for the region castles, take place. Sieges generally have hundreds of players in them. This is generally considered the end goal of BDO; to be able to effectively compete in this type of PvP.

For smaller scale PvP, there is Red Battlefield RBFan arena mode in which two teams battle and points are gained for each kill dependent on the amount of points your slaughtered opponent had. There are multiple practice arenas throughout BDO, with one in each major city, and a battle arena that can be teleported to from anywhere in the game. These arenas allow free PvP and respawns, where anyone can fight another player.

The Arena of Arsha is where 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 fights can take place. This feature is more geared towards player-run tournaments. Besides PvP, there is a wide variety of activities to do in BDO, including: life skilling fishing, cooking, trading, etc.

Some classes excel at large scale PvP while others excel at small skirmishes and duels. Some classes are very good in all types of PvP, but each class has weaknesses and no one class is unbeatable. However, some classes are certainly weaker than others in terms of damage, mobility, utility, etc.

The Ninja is a melee skirmisher that excels in small scale situations but does somewhat poorly in messy large scale situations. Ninja wields a Shortsword same mainhand weapon as a Tamer or Kunoichi as its Pre-awakening or Mainhand weapon with an offhand Shuriken, and wields the Sura Katana, a set of 6 katanas, as its Awakening weapon, which is unlocked after a level 56 story quest. Ninja is a high APM class that, depending on your personal playstyle, can viably be built to be a burst DPS or evasive tank build, or a hybrid of both.

With Kunoichi, Ninja is one of the only classes to have the ability to go invisible for an extended period of time. Ninjas need levels, gear to a certain extentand skill points. The more skill points you have, the more efficient you are, as Ninjas are one of the few classes that utilize almost everything in their kit. Ninja is a slightly above average PvE class. That said, you will be outfarmed by a class like Musa, Sorceress or Mystic by a significant margin. So here you are!

So, in order to help you determine which class is indeed the best, I've compiled a Tier list based on some important factors.

Let's jump right in yeah? This is the Tier that excels in almost every category! It took a lot of digging and shifting around but these are the classes that -truly- are the cream of the crop! The A-Tier are those who aren't going to shift the tide of a Guild war alone. They won't clear mobs like a hot war-axe through butter, nor will they eradicate a duel challenge without effort. However, they will PvP in large and small scale well, they will grind in PvE well, and they can Duel well all with an easy to learn and pick up skill set and rate of success.

These are the foundations, well rounded and powerful for players of all skill levels!

Ninja Fast Pirates Grind

The B Tier. Good but not Great. Strong but not overwhelming. Complicated but not impossible to learn in a timely fashion. This is the Tier of classes that excel but at one thing.

They aren't hard to use and do what they do well. And here we are at the C Tier. These are the classes that aren't the best at their role. They don't specialize themselves into a place that isn't flexible. But they are too focused on their strengths to be B tier. While they do fit a Niche They just don't do it as well as those who have come before them.

They have a higher skill ceiling than those who've preceded them and this can make it hard for a majority of players, especially new players to pick them up and find success across the board.

Finally, D Tier. This is But hear me out! This doesn't mean the classes in this realm are -weak- in as much as they don't fit the formula for amazing strength and versatility as is the want in Black Desert.Started by Ruuy11 Apr Posted 11 Apr edited. Hope it be of help to those who may struggle with the grind or think ninja is weak for PvE. EDIT: Video was deleted. New link for a similar video in the same rotation. It's not as fast or good as my previous one but still shows the rotation. I mean this as a serious question.

This is the second PvE ninja video I've seen in two days is this how most ninjas really grind with constant swaps and insanely active playstyle? It looks like you're trying to pvp mobs down.

BDO Best Weapons for Leveling Up and Starters (2018)

I don't mean that as an insult I just grind very differently and feel like its just as efficient or close enough without worrying about carpal tunnel lol.

Posted 11 Apr On my 60 grind I did it pretty quickly, so limiting the effort was super important to maintain the grind. Yeah thats basically what I do. Grinding is arleady awful enough I feel like if I played like him it would burn me out lol.

Glad you were entertained by it. I'm just used to this kind of playstyle and really enjoy it. Makes the grind more interesting for me at least. It looks like you're trying to pvp mobs down I hate to break it to you, but compared to "top" grinding classes, that is still painfully slow.

It does feel fast when you are hammering away at the keys, quickly executing combos. End result of that effort is disappointing tbh. Glad to see i'm not the only one who throws a ton weapon swaps when fighting in PVE with the ninja. Most Recent Patch Note. I'm assuming we finally got our Valencia buff at least somewhat, but even after reading all my missed patch notes, I still know I missed a BUNCH of stuff in there.

Oh and the Ninja question: Do I need to learn about the second awakening thing or whatever that I think they already released, or are the skills for Ninja not going to do anything for me in PvE? I don't plan to be doing any node wars for a long time. It's not good exp. But even for those classes, Nagas and Fogans are so easy now you can legit start grinding them at like AP or less on some classes that there's no reason anyone should ever choose Bashims except for subjective personal preference, that is if you just like to grind there for some reason.

In terms of the objective rewards for grinding there, it's a bad spot. Also most desert spots are meta now, would recommend Nagas though. I am a main ninja and grinding to 61 at fogans.

I have tried all spots and Fogans give me the best results because the mobs are perfectly packed for a ninja. There is no over aggro in comparison to Nagas. Issue you will have is SP at the end of the day due to a large sum of exp is coming from Marni Stones which do not give SPexp.

The average increases per level increase. Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate all that great info. I'll need to get into that discord channel again; it's been a long time. Oh also I just tried new Nagas and they seem awesome!

They have huge density, all die in one hit, and do zero damage. Issue once you start moving fast is the aggro cap of 7 on a ninja, and if you over aggro mobs hp doesnt go down. I did some testing and I am slower in Nagas than Fogans.

Very helpful post, but I would point out that you kind of misrepresented the Marni Stone exp, in that how much of your total exp the stones make up varies wildly with your level. Valencia spots have been buffed over the past couple months. Sausans and Pirates are more consistent money and probably better for grinding in a party still, because Marni stones only fill when you get the last hit on a monster.
